Jobs, Faith/God, and Other Misc.. :)

Hi everyone!

How was everyone's weekend? Good, I hope!
Mine went really great, my brother and I spent the weekend over at my sister's new house, and we had a great time. Stayed up super late, topping 5-6 am on night, LOL! Watching movies/tv shows til our hearts content =D, skating & shopping at Best Buy on Sat., and on the last day having a nice walk in her neighborhood, which the weather was really great for. :)

Well, I received the decline letter for a job at the EC Library I applied for, which was a full time position. It was kind of disappointing in one sense, as it was full time ... but at the same time I wasn't totally surprised, because I'd been having the feeling that I didn't get the job, and that's happened before with other applications/jobs, and it really hasn't been wrong before.

So... my mom thinks that I should keep trying when/if more jobs open up, which a lot haven't because of the economy and county overspending, they've put alot of jobs on hold. I'm just really grateful that I have a job :) -- But, I get tired of trying.. I know great things are worth fighting for...but I don't think God wants me in the library for the rest of my life, at least not as my only career. And I don't want it to be my career... So... sometimes I think, what if it's not part of God's plan for me to move up anymore in the library? What if I'm not to supposed to go full time with the library? I've tried and interviewed for different library positions 4-5 times, and they've never hired. That's why a part of me wonders if maybe, I'm supposed to be right @ NF Library, and not at another library.

It sometimes get's so complicated and a bit scary.... :/

I should've sent my writing out to Glimmer Train, but I missed their January deadline... so I have to get it in the next open submissions deadline. I feel it's important, it's scary and makes me nervous, but important. I really hope they will publish my short story ... it would mean more to me than the jobs. &hearts&

Went to Books-A-Million tonight, and picked up some great books! :)
I always keep my eyes open for suspense/thriller/horror books --- I LOVE those kinds!! :D

"Allah's Fire - Task Force Valor #1" by Chuck Holton & Gayle Roper
"Dreamhouse Kings #1: House of Dark Shadows" by Robert Liparulo
"Code Talker" by Joseph Bruchac

I also recently bought a whole bunch of books from Goodwill, including "Peter Pan" & a beautiful illustrated copy of "Pride & Prejudice", you can find some really great books there! :)

Right now my parents are watching "Fire Proof" --- I'm hoping that they will see some of the similarities of the characters marriage in the film, in their own marriage... and it would be even COOLER if they took the Love Dare ... I really hope this film will speak to them :)
