2008 Reading List
Here it is!- My 2007 Reading List was pitiful... at only 21 books :'(
That makes me sad. This year, I must do more reading! :D
~*~*~**~*~
34 / 50 books. 68% done!
Currently Reading: CoN: The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe - by C.S. Lewis | Eragon - by Christopher Paolini | Black - by Ted Dekker | Skin - by Ted Dekker | Brother's of The Outlaw Trail | Ghosts in The Gallery | Welcome to Kit's World, 1934: Growing Up During the Great Depression | American Girl - Kit #4: Happy Birthday, Kit! | Half Moon - by Eoin Colfer | East High Stories #2
~*~*~*~*~*~~*
{1} Ghost in The House - by Daniel Cohen /*/ started & finished in mar. 2008
* Very interesting book... especially the first story about Sarah Winchester. I feel a fic coming on! :D
{2} Goosebumps #22: Ghost Beach - by R.L. Stine /*/ started & finished in mar. 2008
* Little scary for kids, but pretty good... the ending is a twist, but I kinda wondered, but still... it's typical RL ;)
{3} How to Eat Fried Worms - by Thomas Rockwell /*/ started: mar. 2008 /*/ finished: mar/apr. 2008
* Are you hungry yet? :p LOL. This book isn't bad so far, Billy makes a bet with Alan to eat a worm once a day for 15 days, for $50 dollars. He acts all like he doesn't mind the worms, but he really just thinks "worm" sometimes when he's eating them and doesn't like it. I hope Billy wins the bet - esp. after eating all the wigglies! :)
{4} Jack Sparrow #9: Dance of The Hours - by Robb Kidd
^ Quite a good one :) - with a twist at the end... I can't wait for the next one :)
{5} Orphan Train Children #3: A Place to Belong - by Joan Lowery Nixon
{6} Dangerous Ghosts - by Daniel Cohen
{7} G.I. Joe and Lillie - by Joseph Bonsall
{8} Serenity #1: New Bad Girl in Town
* This is really good, and I'm so pleased to know their Christian graphic novels out there, it's a market that needs to be addressed :D
{9} Serenity #2: Stepping Out
{10} Serenity #3: Basket Case
{11} American Girl #1: Meet Kit - by Valerie Tripp
{12} American Girl #2: Kit Learns a Lesson - by Valerie Tripp
{13} Serenity #4: Rave and Rant
{14} Serenity #5: Snow Biz
{15} American Girl #3: Kit's Surprise - by Valerie Tripp
{16} Aly & AJ's Rock N' Roll Mysteries #1: First Stop, New York - by Tracey West and Katherine Noll
{17} Prince Caspian: Caspian's Army - by Sadie Chesterfield & Justin Sweet
{18} American Girl: Really Truly Ruthie - by Valerie Tripp
{19} High School Musical: Stories from East High #1 - Battle of The Bands - by N.B. Grace
{20} Serenity #6: You Shall Love
{21} Serenity #7: Space Cadet vs. Drama Queen - Realbuzz Studios
{22} Aly & AJ's Rock 'n' Roll Mysteries #2: Mayhem in Miami - by Tracey West
{23} Hannah Montana: Rock The Waves - by Suzanne Harper
{24} Scary Places: Abandoned Insane Asylums - by Dinah Williams
{25} Serenity #8: Sunday Best - Realbuzz Studios
{26} Serenity #9: Choosing Change - Realbuzz Studios
{27} Serenity #10: Girl Overboard - Realbuzz Studios
{28} Scary Places: Creepy Castles - by Sarah Parvis
* Some creepy Castles ranging from England to Ireland and Scotland. Short stories, but just enough to give you chills -- especially late at nite :D
{29} Scary Places: Haunted Houses - by Dinah Williams
{30} Scary Places: Haunted Hotels - by Sarah Palvis
* I read this early in the morning ... creepy... sent chills up my spine.
{31} Scary Places: Ghost Towns - by Sarah Palvis
{32} Scary Places: Spooky Cemetaries - by Dinah Williams
{33} Captain Raptor and The Space Pirates - by Patrick O'Brien & Kevin O'Malley
{34} Half Moon Investigations - by Eoin Colfer
* I highly rec'd this book! This was my first time reading one of his, and I was impressed with his unique and sometimes quirky writing style. He wrote Half Moon from 1st person, and the rest 3rd person, and did a great job with it! The book has a twist in the end as well :D - Can't wait to read more of his books! :D
{35} Holly Claus: The Christmas Princess - by Brittney Ryan, Laurel Long, and Jeffrey K. Bedrick
* This was a very fanciful and creative telling of Santa Claus' daughter, Holly. It involves a bit of romance, and some rescuing, and it's all good! :) ~ I can't wait to read the novel version, perhaps that will have even more romance and adventure :)
on to 2009 reading list!! :D
